Af First Baptist Church, we believe that the church isn’t a building and doesn’t have a physical address. Twice a week, the church chooses to gather at 213 North Jackson Avenue to worship Jesus together. We like to use small groups, relevant teaching, and powerful worship as we gather corporately on Sundays and Wednesdays. If you happen to be in the Russellville area during one of our weekly gatherings, we’d like to personally invite you to join us! We also simulcast our Sunday morning worship services on WGOL-AM 920 and 100.7 FM in Russellville.

 

What is the worship style like?

Through our choir, praise band, and worship team you’ll experience an incredible time of worship, directed solely at our Audience of One, the Lord Jesus Christ. A variety of worship styles are used from week to week, but it could be said that our style of music is blended, with a mixture of hymns, praise tunes, as well as some new hymns by artists you hear on the radio each day.

 

What is the dress code?

At First Baptist, we encourage you to come as you are, so we don’t have an official dress code. In case you are wondering, most people attend wearing business casual attire. It wouldn’t be surprising to see everything from a few suits and ties, jeans and polo shirts, and even some wearing shorts. It’s not the clothes that the Lord looks at, it’s the people inside the clothes that He is concerned about.
